JKT and Zac have the endorsements of Alaska’s fire fighters and troopers. Zac, as a former state trooper, understands that we have a recruitment and retention problem in our public safety departments across the state. JKT and Zac support returning to a defined benefit pension as one important step to stop our first responders from leaving state.
New Energy for Alaska
JKT and Zac have both served in elected office and now what it takes to represent us. At the same time, they each bring new energy to Juneau - they understand what our younger generations need to pay the bills and raise families in all parts of our state.
Public Education
JKT is committed to fully funding education in the beginning of the year, so that school districts have time to plan. This allows our teachers to have stability, leading to more educators staying in Alaska.
This also allows families to plan for their students.
