As a commercial setnet fisherman in Kasilof for the last 57 years, Brent understands how important healthy fisheries are to our economy and livelihoods. He is deeply committed to sustainable fishing practices, promoting and protecting local subsistence, charter, and commercial fishing resources.

Brent is proudly endorsed by Alaska’s unions. Brent supports responsible infrastructure projects that put Alaskans to work. Brent also understands that people in our community are hurting due to costs going up on everyday expenses. Brent is ready to fight for family sustaining wage jobs so Alaskans can afford to stay here and retire with dignity.

Public Education Champion

Supporting our students and educators is a vital part of Brent’s campaign. It’s why he chose to run. We must adequately fund our education system to obtain and retain high quality teachers. Brent is committed to raising and inflation-proofing the BSA and securing defined benefits for public employees. Our students should have the resources they need to succeed in their educational pursuits.
